why should i hire events by lexx?

Planning an event while working a 9-5 job and balancing any other family duties you may have can put a lot of weight and stress on your shoulders, so why not have some assistance? Your wedding planning process is a very exciting time filled with many details that go into this one magical day and many couples can find it hard to enjoy that day and fully be invested in the party.

Events By Lexx have years of experience planning weddings, managing vendors, reviewing contracts and knowing what our couples need before ever having to ask. Hiring us would not only allow you to have a piece of mind during your once-in-a-lifetime event, it will also be the best decision you ever made.

I am already working with a Catering Manager at my venue, and he/she is very helpful. Why do I need your help?

This is such a great question and as someone who has started their career on the Catering Manager side of events, there is absolutely a difference. Catering Managers are great - they know the venue inside and out, will send your recommended vendors that the venue likes and will highlight menu items they like to create….but not every wedding is the same and shouldn’t be treated as such. This is also different for every venue, some venues have catering managers who will take down your event details, pass it to their team and you won’t see them the day of your event. It is one of the most frustrating situations a couple could find themselves in, expecting your catering manager to handle more responsibilities but they do not fill the role of a wedding planner.

Our team will work with your Catering Manager and understand the venue the same way they do, work with them on a floor-plan and the menu that all caters to YOUR needs. Events By Lexx will advocate for you and your preferences while your Catering Manager will be responsible for the venue and their staff.

how much experience does your team have?

Each of our event planners and assistants come to Events By Lexx with a different level of experience, our planners have at least three to seven years working in the wedding industry.

HOW MUCH INVOLVEMENT WILL MY PLANNER HAVE?

As much or as little as you want them to have! Your planner’s level of involvement depends on the event planning package you reserve and your personal preferences. Some clients will have every detail planned out and are just looking for a planner to execute their vision, and some clients want to sit back and let their planner take care of everything for their wedding day. We work with clients at both ends of the spectrum (and anywhere in between) personalizing our service to your needs.

WILL MY PLANNER WORK ALONE OR WITH ASSISTANTS ON MY WEDDING DAY?

Your planner will be the go-to point person on your wedding day, but will likely bring at least one assistant with them the day of your wedding, possibly two in order to ensure that your day unfolds flawlessly.

How can I determine which “Package” I need? What if I don’t see exactly what I am looking for in one of your Packages?

No worries! We are here to help. During our initial consultation, we will ask a few questions in order to learn more about you as a couple, your upcoming wedding vision, discuss your needs vs wants, as well as answer any questions you have about our services. After learning more about your needs, we will determine if a certain package is a good fit, or we will customize something to meet your requirements.
